Apopka-Altamonte Springs - Your Community
Before Apopka was the “The Indoor Foliage Capital of the World,” or even before it was “The Fern City,” or “The Lodge,” it was an Indian settlement. From about 7500 B.C. Until about the 1st century A.D.
Today, the City of Apopka is located 12 miles northwest of Orlando and encompasses an area slightly larger than 24 square miles. Apopka is the second largest city in Orange County.
If there is a right place in all of the Orlando metropolitan area, Altamonte Springs is it. Positioned in the geographic heart of Central Florida, Altamonte Springs provides a solid base of white collar personnel and support services with the convenience of a location that virtually eliminates the daily challenge of commuting to work.
