Join the North Orange Branch for the screening of War & Peace, episode 3 of the PBS series, Latino Americans: 500 Year Legacy that Shaped a Nation. This is the first major documentary series to chronicle the rich and varied history and experiences of Latinos, who have helped shape the United States over the last 500-plus years and have become, with more than 50 million people, the largest minority group in the U.S. Film screening to be followed with discussion led by Jeannie Economos of the Farmworker Association of Florida. Latino Americans: 500 Years of History has been made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association
