Main Street with Joe Kilsheimer1

Hosted by Apopka Mayor Joe Kilsheimer and 1520’s Roger Franklin Williams, Main Street Apopka is a radio show all about your hometown.

This week’s show highlights the Lake Apopka Wildlife Festival, better known as Birdapalooza, which takes place Saturday Feb 7th at Magnolia Park on the north shore of Lake Apopka. Mayor Kilsheimer was joined by former Orange County Commissioner and community leader Fred Brummer, who was instrumental in the founding of Birdapalooza in his role as County Commissioner, and current County Commissioner Bryan Nelson, an Apopka native. Commissioner Nelson has continued the work that Commissioner Brummer started in supporting and promoting Birdapalooza in a variety of ways.
