The junior track star started the third quarter with an 80-yard kick-return touchdown to give West Orange its first lead and light the fuse on an explosive finish by his team.

The host Warriors (6-0, 1-0 in Class 8A, District 4) batered Apopka (4-2, 0-1) with long-distance strikes after the break and scored a 45-31 victory over their longtime nemesis in a game that drew an estimated 4,000 spectators to Raymond Screws Field. Every seat on the home side was filled 15 minutes before kickoff.
