Historian Liz Coursen lectures about Florida’s transformation from swampland to modern day Florida as we know it. Coursen will display postcards from Florida to illustrate this transformation. Join author Rick Smith on a journey through the award winning epic novel, A Land Remembred, which captures the spirit and colourful history of Florida. Smith’s multimedia presentation will discuss his father and how his experiences led him to write.
