Fearsome and Ferocious

Learn about the 100 most feared creatures on earth from parasitic worms to poisonous frogs. There will be trivia, activities and a craft to learn about these creepy creatures. Ages 8-12.

Angry Birds Flying Forces
Alafaya Branch January, Saturday 11, 11am
Recreate your favorite game with our flustered feathered friends. Learn the science behind the perfect throw, then knock over boxes and piggies of your own. Ages 6-12.

Wild Winter Movies
Washington Park Branch Monday, January 13, 10:30am
The whole family is invited to watch educational videos about these furry animals and their freezing cold habitats.Ages 6-12.

Windermere Branch Saturday, January 25, 11am
Join us for fun facts about anthropods and other invertebrates like spiders, caterpillars, butterflies, and bees. Ages 6-12.

Get Ready for K
Winter Garden Branch Mondays through January and February at 10:30am
South Creek Branch Wednesdays through January and February at 10:30am
Herndon Branch Fridays through January and February at 11am
Preschoolers will hear songs and and stories that will help them begin the learning the skills they will need to start Kindergarten. This series of six programs will introduce children to reading, math, basic concepts, skills, art, health and safety. Ages 3-5 and registration is recommended. Sponsored by Target

Winter Wishes
Winter Garden Branch Friday, January 10, 10:30am
Although it never snows in Winter Garden, we can make it so at the library. Come for winter themed craft, stories and fun. Ages 3-5.

Clowning around at the Library

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey invades the library with an animated reading session. Enjoy all the clowning around and sneak peek of the circus at this event. This is a free event, but registration is recommended as the seating is first come first serve and are expected to go fast.

Storybook Yoga

Maggie Mathwich leads a yoga inspired hour of positions based from popular storybook characters. Registration is required for this event.

Terrific Tuesday
