Art, Miniatures, and Trucks on Display at the Orlando Public Library.



On display this September at the Orlando Public Library are a series of  paintings, miniatures and Tonka Trucks.


Southwest Painting Series
Southwest Branch
Saturday September 7, 2013 at 10:30am
For all painters or would be painters come down to the Southwest Branch and get painting tips for acrylics or oil. Sponsored by the non-profit organization, Women in Art Inc, these workshops will be offered monthly and taught by qualified art instructors. These series will take place the first Saturday of each month from September till November. Workshops are free and basic painting tools will be provided. Registration required, up to 15 people per session. First come, first serve basis. For ages 18 and up.


Souvenir Buildings and Banks
Orlando Public Library, 3rd Floor
Through September and October
Collections feature items from around the world and vary from newly made to 150 years old. Explore miniature buildings and and monuments as well as pottery and ceramic banks. Presented by the Souvenir Building Collectors Society and the Still Bank Collector’s Club of America.


Tonka Trucks and Disney Lunchboxes
Orlando Public Library, First Floor
Through September and October
Stan Madray presents his collection of Tonka trucks from the 60’s and 70’s. Come and see the different types of vehicles and colors at this kid friendly event. Also take in Madray’s collection of Disney lunchboxes.
